Very Unique Victorian Black Onyx Mourning Earrings, circa 1850-60~The Black Onyx hasn't any chip, nicks to it which is pretty rare for a pair of earrings 160 years old! They are very hard to photograph and get the light to show the curves and distinctions. The tops are 3-sisded and the bottoms are a cut into upside-down teardrop is the best way to describe them. The are quite unusual and lovely and I know the right person will fall in love with them. from the very top of the wire bail to the bottom of the tip measures 1 1/2 inches. The widest part of the bottom is 1/2". Very lightweight.
